Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Manager in our SCADA & Communications department to oversee telecommunications, SCADA, fiber optic, and RTU projects across the full project life cycle, from initiate to close. You will coordinate with engineering, field teams, vendors, and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

This full-time on-site role requires four years of related experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, and the ability to travel to client sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with utilities telecommunications and SCADA.
• A minimum of four years directly related professional experience.
• Able to work on-site at client locations with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital telecommunications, SCADA, and RTU replacement projects or phases of larger projects.
• Lead project planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities.
• Develop scopes of work, RFPs, project schedules, cost forecasts, and risk tracking.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on scope, contracts, specs, schedule, and change management.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized RTU replacement program schedule.
• Establish site-specific projects and work orders for RTU replacements.
• Coordinate with telecom engineering, area managers, and field technicians to align resources.
• Track RTU replacement work to prevent duplication and ensure coordination.
• Ensure equipment and materials are ordered, assembled, shipped, and tracked.
• Coordinate field execution, legacy RTU decommissioning, and project closeout.
