Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Communications/SCADA Project Manager in Albany, OR to oversee telecom, SCADA, fiber, and RTU projects through the full life cycle. You will coordinate with engineering, technicians, and vendors to plan, execute, and close projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires a 4+ year background, a relevant engineering degree, strong communication skills, and in-office work five days a week, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• A minimum of four years directly related professional experience.
• Experience or education in project cost, schedule, scope controls, forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to analyze information and provide solutions.
• Proficient with technical applications, software, and tools.
• Ability to motivate and influence others and build teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-office 5 days a week.
• Occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital telecommunications, SCADA, and RTU replacement projects or phases.
• Lead planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Develop scopes of work, RFPs, schedules, cost forecasts, reports, and risk tracking.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on scope, contracts, specs, and changes.
• Maintain RTU replacement program schedule based on asset data and timelines.
• Establish site-specific projects and work orders for RTU replacements.
• Coordinate with telecom engineering, engineers, area managers, technicians, contractors, and vendors.
• Track RTU replacement work to avoid duplication and ensure coordination.
• Ensure equipment and materials are ordered, shipped, and tracked to schedules.
• Coordinate field execution, decommissioning, and closeout per procedures.
