Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex telecom infrastructure projects, including fiber optics and wireless builds. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and risk, and ensure high safety and quality standards across projects.

In this senior role, you will drive strategic direction, coordinate subcontractors and clients, and pursue new telecom opportunities while traveling up to 30% to various U.S. sites and offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of telecom or utility construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred; diploma or technical training accepted).
• Strong understanding of telecom construction methods, permitting processes, and industry standards (e.g., NESC, NEC, local codes).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with contract negotiation, cost control, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion and uphold Ledcor’s safety-first culture, ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded on telecom construction sites.
• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale telecommunications projects, including fiber deployments, small cell installations, and wireless tower builds.
• Manage risk management, permitting, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead the identification and pursuit of new telecom project opportunities.
• Oversee the project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with telecom construction standards and specifications.
