Job summary

ByVerTek is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunication Senior Construction Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of telecom infrastructure projects. The role requires 10+ years in telecom construction management, strong leadership, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Candidates must be local to the Florida area; CDL is preferred, with experience in directional boring for interstate SRP and highway.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of telecom construction management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of fiber optics, wireless networks, and cable systems.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• CDL preferred.
• Experience supervising directional boring with interstate SRP and highway.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage telecommunication construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with Project Management team to execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high performance and adherence to project standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project specifications and design plans.
• Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensure proper resource planning and logistics management for materials and equipment.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce project costs without compromising quality.
• Manage contracts and negotiate terms with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
