Job summary

Plaid Inc is seeking a skilled IT Ops professional to own and improve critical infrastructure used by thousands of developers. You will focus on Okta configuration, endpoint management via Iru/Kandji, and building automation to reduce repetitive work.

The role emphasizes IaC, security, and scalability across Plaid's internal systems. You will collaborate with Security, Engineering, and People teams, deploying AI tooling, managing SaaS platforms, and supporting the company’s growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices.
• Experience with mobile device management for Apple devices such as Iru, Intune, or Workspace One.
• Experience with configuration as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions you build.
• Experience using and managing major central business and development systems.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Experience with Slack.
• Experience with Linear, Jira, or other ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Okta configuration, including lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA enforcement, and Workflows automation.
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru or Kandji, with a policy-as-code approach and version-controlled configurations.
• Build and maintain automation to reduce repetitive support burden.
• Evaluate, deploy, and support AI tooling to improve productivity.
• Manage SaaS procurement and renewals for the systems the team owns.
• Own and support company-wide SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, and Okta.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, and GTM teams on cross-team initiatives.
• Work from the office 3 days per week.
