Job description

• Manage an infrastructure project as a service by directing and coordinating day-to-day project activities, tasks, and deliverables
• Apply systems development lifecycle approaches to project management and delivery of IT products and solutions
• Manage technology projects to ensure completion on time and within budget
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables
• Develop and complete RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs
• Conduct technical and contract reviews for new vendor relationships
• Gather and use information about information system structures, processes, and protocols
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and communicate project progress
• Forecast project completion estimates and prepare status reports for senior leadership
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor project milestones
• Evaluate and manage risk and incorporate quality measures and standards into project deliverables
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Information System, and 10 years of experience managing large scale and complex IT / Technology projects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrable experience in successful project delivery
• Working knowledge of virtual systems such as VMware and/or Windows
• Working knowledge of archival and backup applications and solutions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and one or more enterprise back-office applications such as Microsoft Exchange 2010 or MS SQL Server
• Experience designing, installing, configuring, and upgrading infrastructure components such as virtual and physical servers, storage, routers, firewalls, and switches
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Expert understanding of traditional and agile project management methodologies and their proper application
• Experience leading cross-functional, organization-wide project teams
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Visio, and MS Project or another project management tool
• Ability to read, write, speak, and use proper grammar in English
• Ability to analyze and document technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations
