Job summary

Alight Solutions in the United States is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager of Technology Operations to lead core infrastructure, automation, and support teams. You will oversee enterprise file transfer systems, workload automation, print fulfillment, and AWS cloud environments, driving operational excellence with strong vendor management.

You will manage 24x7 support, incident response, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technology services with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in IT operations with 3+ years in people management.
• Direct experience managing Control-M, Control-D, and MFT platforms.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with data transmission protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS) and high-volume print fulfillment.
• Proven track record in managing high-severity production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, performance, security, and continuous improvement of MFT, Control-M, Control-D, print fulfillment platforms, and AWS infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability with KPIs, SLAs, and system health monitoring.
• Direct incident management, escalation, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
• Drive adoption of AI, AIOps, and automation to improve monitoring and reliability.
• Leverage Generative AI to improve documentation, knowledge management, and support operations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, aligning services with business goals.
• Lead client onboarding and act as senior escalation point for outages.
• Build and manage strategic tech/vendor partnerships, including contracts and licensing.
• Establish and mature 24x7 support capabilities with root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Mentor a diverse team of engineers and analysts, promoting inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Foster continuous learning, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
