Job summary

PAE in New York City seeks a Senior Technology Engineer to lead complex building projects, acting as a primary technical resource and mentor. You’ll guide configurations across telecom, audiovisual, security, and healthcare systems from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in engineering, professional credentials, and 6–10 years of related experience, with strong communication and design coordination skills. Hybrid work is offered in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional credentials (PE, CTS, RCDD, PSP) preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years as Technology Engineer 4, or 6–10 years related work.
• Advanced understanding of technology design concepts and NEC/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and manage deliverables on time and within budget.
• Prepare narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Lead client meetings and coordinate internal and external teams.
• Apply design judgment from concepts through construction.
• Oversee converged infrastructure design including telecom, audiovisual, security, and healthcare systems.
• Develop work plans, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
