Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Principal Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead scalable enterprise platform design for the DME Diabetes business. You will partner with stakeholders, product and engineering teams to outline roadmaps for deployments while preserving current state stability.

The role calls for deep experience in designing and integrating enterprise platforms within healthcare, with a focus on secure, scalable architectures and compliance with healthcare

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience in leadership roles such as Solutions/Enterprise Architecture in the DME industry.
• Experience architecting large-scale enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and API-led connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-first integration strategies with microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Develop end-to-end architectures for customer acquisition, onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, and engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
• Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
