Travel up to 20% and collaboration with engineering leadership are expected. This full-time role includes creating process documentation, overseeing lab operations, mentoring technicians, and ensuring adherence to standards like UL 508 and NFPA 70/79.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on Automation technician experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% between locations.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and quality in all activities.
• Create process documentation for the Technician team.
• Lead and manage technicians supporting mechanical, electrical, and system builds and testing.
• Oversee day-to-day lab and shop operations, scheduling, workload balancing, and priorities.
• Ensure adherence to Andrews Cooper standards, safety practices, and quality processes.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance for assembly, troubleshooting, and test activities.
• Partner with engineering leadership to support project execution and delivery timelines.
• Mentor, coach, and develop technicians through feedback and training.
