Job summary

Andrews Cooper seeks a Technician Manager in Corvallis, OR to lead a hands-on team across mechanical, electrical, and system builds. You will drive safety, quality, and efficient lab operations while mentoring technicians and coordinating with engineering leadership on project execution.

Responsibilities include creating process docs, guiding troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to UL/industry standards in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on automation experience as a Technician.
• Travel up to 20% between locations and to client sites.
• Ability to travel for work; reliable transportation required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and quality across builds and testing.
• Create process documentation for the Technician team.
• Lead and manage technicians supporting mechanical, electrical, and system-level builds and testing.
• Oversee lab and shop operations, scheduling, workload balancing, and priorities.
• Ensure adherence to standards, safety practices, and quality processes.
• Provide hands-on guidance for assembly, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Partner with engineering leadership to support project timelines.
• Mentor, coach, and develop technicians and support career growth.
