Job summary

CACI, INC.-FEDERAL is seeking a Technical Writer T4 to join a multi-tenant program in Sterling, VA (or Sarasota, FL). The candidate will manage high volumes of government documentation, coordinate with Systems Engineers, and ensure regulatory compliance and timely deliverables.

Requirements include a TS/SCI clearance, a 4-year degree with 6+ years of writing for US Military customers or 8+ years in the IC, and strong editing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of heavy writing for US Military customers or 8+ years in the IC with heavy writing.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Compile System Installation Standards volumes from engineering files.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Security to update User Guides and SOPs.
• Review and revise submissions for clarity, coherence, and presentation.
• Maintain writing standards for documents going to customers.
• Serve as program SME for classification and governance documents.
• Coach project managers on documentation practices.
• Create graphics and tables to illustrate programmatic information.
• Provide copyediting for documents across teams.
• Support test documentation with the Test Engineer.
• Participate in IPT for system recap or deployment readiness.
• Maintain internal SharePoint documentation library and manage access.
