Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer T4 to join our team in support of complex government programs. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a proven track record in military-grade documentation, editing, and governance.

You will work with diverse teams, manage high volumes of precise paperwork, and develop user guides and standards within tight deadlines. The position may be based in the Sarasota, FL area or Sterling, VA, with some travel.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass a polygraph.
• 4-year college degree and 6+ years of heavy writing experience with US Military customers or 8+ years in the Intelligence Community; Masters may substitute for two years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
• Strong editing skills and initiative to expand technical and soft skills.
• Deadline oriented and able to self-direct to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint; Visio, Excel, Teams and Adobe Acrobat Pro desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Responsible Engineer to complete System Installation Standards technical volumes by gathering information from engineering files in SharePoint and Confluence.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and other teams to update User Guides and governance documents.
• Review and revise programmatic submissions to the COTR for clarity and presentation.
• Ensure documents have structure, clarity, and narrative flow to meet customer requirements.
• Serve as the program's SME for classification and governance.
• Coach project managers on documentation best practices and procedures.
• Develop graphics, tables, and visual representations of programmatic information.
• Provide copyediting for documents across teams in a matrixed environment.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers to complete sell-off documentation.
• Be an IPT member for system recap or deployment readiness with customer witnesses.
• Maintain internal documentation library (SharePoint) and manage access to documentation sharing sites.
