Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. in a 100% remote setup seeks a Technical Writer II to own the documentation portfolio end-to-end. The role collaborates with Engineering, UX, Training, Support, and Marketing to deliver clear, user-friendly content across product releases.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of technical writing, experience with DITA XML, HTML-first docs, and CMS tools like Heretto, Jira, and Confluence. This is a 12-month, part-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• 2-5 years of technical writing experience.
• Proficient in DITA XML authoring workflows.
• Experience creating HTML-first documentation where each page is standalone.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve content quality and efficiency.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, UX, Training, Support, and Marketing.
• Knowledge of Heretto CCMS or similar CMS.

Responsabilités

• Plan, write, and publish documentation for software/hardware releases and new product introductions.
• Own assigned documentation portfolios from inception through publication and maintenance.
• Create user-friendly technical content that prioritizes customer experience.
• Drive documentation improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
• Improve processes and tools with creative problem-solving and teamwork.
• Identify, recommend, and champion new solutions to enhance documentation quality.
• Analyze documentation processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support publishing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical content.
