Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join a growing software documentation team. You will translate complex software functionality into clear, end-user documentation, collaborating with Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts to produce manuals, guides, and specifications.

The role emphasizes software/product documentation with a strong focus on MadCap Flare. You will own documentation projects from conception through completion, contributing to the overall user experience

Qualifications

Proven experience as a technical writer for software products.
Ability to translate complex software functionality into clear user documentation.
Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead interviews with subject matter experts and gather required information.
Create, update, and maintain technical product documentation for software.
Partner with Product Managers to understand new features and translate them into user-friendly docs.
Ensure consistency with established technical-writing standards, terminology, and style guidelines.
Develop docs to support upcoming software releases and product updates.
Manage documentation projects from conception to publication and assignment prioritization.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
Review existing documentation as products evolve and update accordingly.
