Contiem is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to lead documentation across a diverse client portfolio. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality content that meets client standards.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of technical writing experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs. You will mentor junior writers and collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and editors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical writing experience, with the role focusing on documentation for multiple clients.
• Candidate must understand mechanical and electronic products and gather data from engineers and CAD/docs.
• Experience writing in DITA/XML and using XML editors in professional settings.
• Ability to adapt writing to different client standards and audiences.
• Strong collaboration across SMEs, project managers, and writers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take a big-picture view of large content sets to define the content model and simplify authoring.
• Lead documentation projects from planning through publication and manage multiple client timelines.
• Create and update product manuals, SOPs, user guides, and online help resources.
• Ensure documents follow client and Contiem standards and are accurate and easy to understand.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to team growth.
• Utilize content management systems to organize and maintain documentation.
