Job summary

Contiem is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to lead documentation across a diverse client portfolio. The right candidate will excel at managing multiple projects, maintain quality, and adapt to evolving client standards.

A minimum of 15+ years in technical writing is required, with strong writing skills and experience in XML/DITA and content management systems. The role demands collaboration with SMEs, engineers, and project managers, plus mentoring of junior writers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical writing experience.
• Experience researching and gathering technical data from engineers, developers, and CAD/design docs.
• Ability to write for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Take big-picture view of large content sets and define information models.
• Lead documentation projects from planning through publication with multiple clients.
• Create and update product manuals, SOPs, software user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor junior writers and ensure adherence to client standards.
• Collaborate with SMEs, project managers, and writing team to align with standards.
