Job summary

Contiem, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to lead and elevate documentation across our client portfolio. You will oversee multiple projects, collaborate with SMEs and project managers, and ensure content aligns with client and Contiem standards.

The role demands exceptional writing skills and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs. Ideal candidates have 15+ years of technical writing experience, proficiency with DITA/XML, and experience using XML editors and CMS.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical writing experience as the primary role.
• Ability to work with SMEs, engineers, and project managers.
• Experience creating product manuals, SOPs, user guides, and online help.
• Proficient in DITA/XML and XML editors.
• Strong writing skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead documentation projects from planning through publication and manage multiple projects.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, and writers to align with standards.
• Create and update technical documentation for products and projects.
• Ensure documents follow client and Contiem standards.
• Mentor junior writers and develop team skills.
• Utilize content management systems to manage documentation.
• Advocate for user experience and intuitive documentation.
