Job summary

Contiem, Inc. specializes in CCMS and content solutions. We seek a Technical Writer with API experience to develop and maintain documentation for our clients.

You will work with engineers and SMEs to gather information, validate accuracy, and deliver high-quality API documentation and user guides. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years in technical writing, proficiency with DITA XML, JSON, HTML5, and tools like MadCap Flare, with experience testing APIs using Postman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, journalism, communications, or related field.
• 5-7 years' experience in technical writing with API documentation focus.
• Experience documenting RESTful/GraphQL APIs and collaborating with engineers/SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and publish API documentation for RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Create API reference guides, developer portals, release notes, and changelogs.
• Produce code samples and implementation examples in common languages.
• Edit AI-generated content for accuracy and usability.
