Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Writer to partner with the intelligence systems engineering team to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused documentation. You will produce high-quality, user-focused material across compliance, process docs, user guides, release notes, troubleshooting guides, and API docs.

You will collaborate with engineers, PMs, and business teams to ensure documentation aligns with product development and field usage, ensuring clear and accurate

Qualifications

• 8+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation for various levels of technical audiences for a variety of product types.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical docs for software and hardware products.
• Clear and persuasive writing for diverse audiences from technical to layperson.
• Willingness to work in a mission-first defense environment and evolve docs for national security.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation that is user-focused and of the highest quality.
• Cover full development lifecycle from planning to deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship user-friendly docs that enhance user experience.
• Develop and refine the documentation toolkit, style guides, and lifecycle processes.
• Build partnerships across the business to understand users and products.
