Qualifications

• 8+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation for various levels of technical audiences.
• Reading and interpreting software and hardware user documentation for complex technical products and certifications.
• Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication for diverse audiences from highly technical to layperson.
• Mission-first mindset with focus on national security.
• Adaptability in unstructured environments and ability to work independently.
• Collaborate with engineers, SMEs and PMs to translate complex concepts into clear docs.
• Willingness to streamline processes using AI and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation that is user-focused and of the highest quality.
• Documentation covers full development lifecycle—from planning and design to deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship user-friendly documentation that informs and enhances user experience.
• Contribute to the documentation toolkit, including style guides and lifecycle processes.
• Build partnerships across the business to understand users and products.
