Job summary

Veeva is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to own content areas within a complex product ecosystem. You will collaborate with product and other writers to deliver high-quality documentation on a monthly release cadence, leveraging AI tooling and automation.

You will contribute to multimedia content strategy with video and eLearning content while building strong relationships with product, engineering, and stakeholders to reflect upcoming changes accurately.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent in a related role (e.g., information design, knowledge management, documentation engineering).
• Experience managing content across complex multi-product or multi-service environments.
• Experience with AI-driven content workflows and tooling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective cross-team relationships.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with technical authoring environments and docs-as-code approach.
• Portfolio demonstrating ability to structure, manage, and deliver content for a technical audience.

The Role

Senior Technical Writer will take ownership of content areas within a complex, fast-moving product ecosystem. As Senior Technical Writer, you will work closely with other writers and with Product to deliver high‑quality content on a monthly release cadence, using AI tooling and automation to produce documentation, and contribute to our multimedia strategy with video and eLearning content.

Qualifications

• Experience with technical authoring environments and docs‑as‑code approach.
• Portfolio or samples that demonstrate your ability to structure, manage, and deliver content for a technical audience.
• U.S. West location (Pacific Timezone).
• Experience working for an enterprise software company (strongly preferred).
• Experience with Git, XML, HTML, Markdown, and/or Madcap Flare (strongly preferred).
• Experience with video production, eLearning development, or creating interactive training materials to support a multimedia content strategy.
• Familiarity with web development and programming languages (HTML, XML, CSS; Python, React, Javascript).

Compensation

Base pay: $85,000 – $140,000. The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
