Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Technical Training Specialist, Sr Lead, to deliver progressive technical skills training to distribution line crews, utility automation, and safety mandated programs from fundamentals to complex concepts. The role emphasizes clear communication, assessment of participant confidence and competency, and alignment with supervisor guidance.

This onsite position requires travel up to 25% within Beaumont, TX and adjacent areas.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree or equivalent utility experience.
• Experience delivering safety, skills and technical training materials.
• Ability to develop and administer training programs for distribution/line ops.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and technical skills training for employees.
• Mitigate risk and report safety violations during training delivery.
• Evaluate participants and tailor curricula to competency levels.
• Deliver instruction using multiple formats including distance learning.
• Observe and evaluate performance to guide progression decisions.
• Assess training effectiveness and provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify best practices and new courses.
• Provide opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Learn and utilize technology, maintain training records, and report as needed.
