Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Technical Training Specialist - Sr Lead to deliver advanced technical skills training to distribution line personnel, supporting safety, automation, and performance. The role requires in-office presence across Beaumont, TX, Lake Charles, LA, The Woodlands, TX, or Conroe, TX, with mobility as needed.

The Sr Lead will evaluate learner competency, develop materials, and collaborate with industry experts to keep content current.

Qualifications

Strong Safety culture. Practical knowledge of technical skill to be taught.
Ability to communicate effectively in various mediums and styles.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel up to 40% intersystem travel and to relocate if required.

Responsibilities

Conduct safety and technical skills training programs for safety, policies, procedures, and technical skills.
Mitigate risk in training delivery and report safety violations.
Evaluate learner competency and determine curriculum needs; support design and development of materials.
Deliver technical skills instruction to craft workers using various delivery formats, including distance learning.
Observe and evaluate training participants and make progression recommendations.
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to management and employees.
