Job summary

Qualifications

• > 10 years of Field Service Engineering or equivalent technical field experience.
• > Proven record of developing, delivering, or supporting technical training for field personnel, customers, or internal technical teams.
• > Strong understanding of power generation systems, ATS, switchgear, PLC, SCADA, generator controls, and related field-service applications.
• > Experience with complex paralleling systems, synchronization, load sharing, and protection schemes.
• > Knowledge of diesel generator controls, governors, voltage regulation, and excitation systems.
• > Experience reading schematics, control drawings, I/O mapping, and alarm logic.
• > Familiarity with industrial automation platforms (Wonderware/WinCC/PME).
• > Electrical theory and power distribution background.
• > Willingness to relocate to Broken Arrow, OK and travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• > Build and deliver technical training materials for Russelectric ATS, switchgear, PLC, SCADA, and related equipment.
• > Coordinate hands-on instruction, virtual learning, equipment demonstrations, and scenario-based troubleshooting.
• > Identify training needs from field support trends and leadership feedback to improve content.
• > Create engaging online training and practical exercises for Field Service, Sales, and customers.
• > Collaborate with leadership, Field Service, Engineering, and Sales to keep training aligned with business needs.
• > Maintain training center equipment and up-to-date training assets.
• > Provide technical instruction on power generation, ATS, switchgear, PLC, and SCADA systems.
