Job summary
Sky Climber Renewables seeks a Senior Siemens Troubleshooting Technician to provide on-site advanced diagnostics on utility-scale wind farms in Oklahoma. You will diagnose, repair, and resolve complex turbine faults with limited supervision while mentoring junior technicians.
Role requires deep expertise with Siemens 2.3 platforms and converter systems, plus strong safety leadership and on-site accountability.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of Siemens wind turbine troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficiency using laptops, diagnostic software, and turbine control interfaces.
- Demonstrated expertise diagnosing electrical and control system faults.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Siemens wind turbine systems.
- Analyze turbine faults and identify root causes of recurring operational issues.
- Lead troubleshooting activities involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance on site.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
