Job summary
RESA Power is seeking a Remote Sr. Technical Trainer to drive operational excellence for our Systems and Service teams in the US and Canada.
You will assess technician skills and create, prepare, and deliver technical training on Power Systems topics, while mentoring apprentices and representing the company at industry events. You will work with the Director of Operational Excellence, travel regularly 35–40%, and have access to a comprehensive compensation package including relocation assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant field experience.
- NETA level 3 or 4 certification or equivalent.
- Experience with NFPA70E Standard.
- Proven expertise in common Power Systems topics.
- Experience presenting to groups and training others.
- Ability to travel 35%–40% regularly.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate best practices in region and develop standardization plans.
- Lead training and operational audits with field teams.
- Develop and deliver engaging training materials (live and virtual).
- Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on training activities.
- Act as SME for technicians and mentor in apprentice programs.
- Represent RESA Power at trade shows and in curriculum development with technical schools.
