Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering, product development, and leadership roles across multiple business units in the Columbus, OH area.

You will act as a strategic talent advisor to leaders, shaping attraction, sourcing, and hiring for highly specialized talent in engineered products, electrical systems, automation, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of recruiting experience, including engineering and technical hiring.
• Proven ability to recruit specialized talent within industrial, engineering, or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of engineering, product development, and technical operations.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional sourcing, networking, and talent mapping capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, product development, and leadership roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies focused on highly specialized engineering talent.
• Build and maintain networks of technical professionals and talent pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, goals, and workforce plans.
• Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and hiring trends.
• Identify and engage passive talent through networking and direct sourcing.
• Assess candidates for technical qualifications, leadership potential, and fit.
• Drive a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Manage multiple high-priority searches with quality and speed.
• Analyze recruiting metrics to improve outcomes and reduce external search reliance.
