Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure premium customers receive world-class technical support. You will troubleshoot software applications, document issues, and act as a technical lead for junior staff. Some travel and on-call rotation are possible, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in similar roles, strong Windows/SQL skills, and experience with Python or C#. Knowledge of MES, PLCs, and OPC UA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience with Windows OS and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python or C# and OO programming.

Responsibilities

• Handle phone queue during business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT).
• Document issues and resolutions in CRM with clear details.
• Lead and mentor junior staff on technical topics.
• Provide knowledge transfer via tech notes and web sessions.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
