Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a SCADA Technical Lead in Houston, TX with strong leadership in large-scale, multi-year projects. You will act as the lead software project engineer, coordinating the technical plan, schedule, and deliverables for complex customer orders.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or CS and 5+ years in industrial automation software development, with experience in SCADA/MES systems. Expect hybrid work, 50% in-office, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience leading software projects in industrial automation.
• Experience with SCADA/MES software packages is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close customer software projects.
• Serve as lead software project engineer and technical contact for the customer.
• Confirm customer requirements and BOM alignment; manage project scope and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team and stakeholders.
• Travel domestically and internationally (20–50%).
