Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a high-impact Solutions Architect to partner with our sales team in Irving, TX. You will craft data, voice, security, IT, mobility, and managed service packages that address customer needs and drive advanced solution sales.

You will design architectures, build business cases, draft technical agreements, and lead program plans to ensure commitments are delivered. Strong experience in technical sales, contract negotiation, and cross-team collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience selling technical solutions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience working on a sales team and meeting challenging sales targets preferred.
• Technical design and engineering experience, ideally in communications or networks, preferred.
• Knowledge of wireless services and data, voice, cloud, managed services IT, security, and/or mobility solutions preferred.
• M2M exposure preferred.
• Experience negotiating and contracting for complex technical solutions preferred.
• Experience creating detailed project plans covering technical specifications, requirements, and milestones for complex technical solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and craft service packages spanning data, voice, security, IT, mobility, and professional managed services
• Proactively engage in the territory to drive advanced solution sales
• Understand customer business challenges
• Develop solutions and design architectures to address customer needs
• Establish business cases and help customers select solutions
• Draft agreements with pricing, service commitments, and technical specifications
• Create and manage technical program plans to deliver customer commitments
• Grow new business and existing accounts
• Support the SMB Channel as a technical solutions resource
• Primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to Verizon locations for training and meetings
