Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Promontory, Utah, seeks a Principal Technical Services Project Manager to lead schedule management and cost accountability across manufacturing activities for the Space Systems Division's OPM program.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing Work Centers, PMO, Test, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure on-time, within-budget program execution while communicating status to all management levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with a Master's).
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, test, production, or industrial engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Cost Point, MRP, SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules and cost accountability for manufacturing activities.
• Interface between PMO, Manufacturing, Test, SCM, Engineering, and Shipping.
• Collaborate with work centers to optimize program execution and resolve issues.
• Present program visibility to internal and external stakeholders at all management levels.
• Identify and drive manufacturing improvement projects and process enhancements.
• Facilitate internal meetings to support design, production, and problem resolution.
