Job summary

SACO AEI Polymers is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to collaborate with customers on process development and product applications. The role involves leading trials, troubleshooting, and coordinating pre- and post-trial assessments with stakeholders to ensure successful extrusion applications across pipe, wire, and film markets.

The candidate will train customers, provide hands-on support at facilities, and travel up to half the time while maintaining strong technical and commercial

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in polymer process development, technical service, or applications.
• Experience with polyolefins, XLPEs, polyamides, EPDM/EPDM rubbers, nylons, PVC in extrusion contexts.
• Ability to lead product introduction trials and resolve technical issues with customers.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on process equipment, setup, and product application success.
• Lead pre-/post-trial assessments, planning, and discussions with stakeholders.
• Support sales by investigating and documenting quality complaints and pursuing equitable outcomes.
• Travel up to 50% to perform hands-on extrusion trials and customer trainings.
