Job summary

Saco Aei is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to advance product, process, and application developments across extrusion markets. You will consult with customers on equipment and processes, lead pre- and post-trial activities, and drive successful application outcomes.

The role requires hands-on extrusion trial work, collaboration across teams, and travel up to 50% to support customers with technical leadership and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years for polymer extrusion application/development roles.
• Experience with polyolefins, XLPEs, polyamides, rubbers, nylons, PVC in applied settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead product introduction trials at customers with detailed trial plans and post-trial assessments.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints and document outcomes.
• Audit competitive products and provide input for new product development.
• Conduct hands-on extrusion trials at customer facilities; travel up to 50%.
• Collaborate with customers to optimize manufacturing processes for quality and output.
