Job summary

Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions with a global footprint, seeking a Global Process & Support Engineer to optimize the New Air extrusion process and capital equipment. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Global Engineering to ensure consistent performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in process, capital equipment, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with extrusion, film processing or related continuous manufacturing.
• Capital equipment design, installation, and commissioning experience.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven improvement ability.
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global SME for New Air inflatable bubble extrusion and capital equipment.
• Lead process optimization to improve throughput, yield, and cost efficiency.
• Own standards, parameters, and specifications for the platform.
• Support design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Drive reliability and uptime through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sites to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Lead capital projects, upgrades, and process transfers.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and technical docs.
