Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Manager for heavy equipment and hydraulics in the Duluth, MN area. The role is 100% onsite with 1st shift hours, offering a permanent, direct-hire path and a salary up to $98,000 per year plus profit sharing.

You will lead technical support, warranty processing, and field service management for excavators, attachments, and material handlers, while collaborating with engineering and sales to tailor solutions for clients.

Qualifications

5+ years of hydraulic machinery experience.
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Associate degree or Hydraulic certification.
Strong communication and training skills.
Stable multi-year tenure with minimal job-hopping.

Responsibilities

Lead technical support for internal field technicians, dealers, and end-user customers resolving complex hydraulic and mechanical issues.
Coordinate with engineering, product support and sales to communicate performance data and design improvements.
Oversee warranty processing, service scheduling, and maintenance of the central service database.
Develop repair procedures and deliver training sessions for technicians and customers.
Complete initial field immersion and occasional travel for major trade shows.
