Job summary

Zoom is seeking an experienced Senior Technical SEO Lead to own the technical SEO foundation across a multi-platform web ecosystem. You will drive architecture decisions, implement crawlability/indexation strategies, and partner with SEO, Content, and Engineering to improve organic visibility.

You will work across Optimizely, WordPress, and custom apps, focusing on AI-ready search, Core Web Vitals, and scalable SEO automation in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical SEO or web engineering leading initiatives on large-scale sites and SaaS/enterprise tech.
• Deep expertise in crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, URL architecture, XML sitemaps, robots directives, structured data, internal linking, hreflang, and JavaScript-based apps.
• Proven experience improving Core Web Vitals and web performance across JS-heavy sites.
• Experience building scalable SEO capabilities across Optimizely and WordPress; comfortable editing CMS/codebase for SEO.
• Strong understanding of structured data, semantic HTML, and AI-search readiness (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).
• Strong analytical skills with SEO analytics tools to identify issues and translate into fixes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration to drive SEO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical SEO roadmap and execution across Zoom's web ecosystem.
• Translate SEO/AEO requirements into design and production implementations across CMSs and front-end frameworks.
• Own technical solutions for crawlability, indexation, sitemaps, robots, canonicalization, redirects, and URL structure.
• Build reusable SEO capabilities and automation, including metadata services and sitemap generation.
• Drive Core Web Vitals and performance improvements (LCP, CLS, INP, image optimization, caching, CDN).
• Develop automated testing, monitoring, dashboards, and CI/CD quality gates for SEO.
• Establish technical standards for SEO across Optimizely, WordPress, and custom apps.
• Partner with SEO, Content, Product Marketing, and Engineering to translate strategy into scalable solutions.
• Tie SEO initiatives to organic visibility, acquisition, pipeline, and revenue.
