Job summary
Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in the Power Conversion Solutions for the European data center market. You will engage hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineers and EPCs to shape tailored solutions and win business across Europe.
The role requires strong technical sales leadership, market insight and the ability to collaborate across engineering, tendering, product management and project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience in technical sales, business development or account management within power/electrical infrastructure or energy technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of power conversion technologies, power electronics, electrical systems or related solutions.
- Experience working with data centers, critical power infrastructure, industrial power systems or adjacent markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth of Power Conversion Solutions within the European data center market.
- Lead technical and commercial customer discussions throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
- Support tendering activities, commercial proposals, contract negotiations and bid strategies.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
