Job summary

K2 Space Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to scale our growing team in Torrance, CA. You will partner with leadership to plan workforce strategy and source, attract, identify, and close candidates across engineering and related functions. This role offers ownership and impact in a fast-paced space startup.

You will shape the recruiting function, build relationships with top programs, and help craft compelling closing strategies in a highly regulated, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years recruiting experience, including full-cycle hiring.
• Experience recruiting for electrical, mechanical, and/or software engineering roles.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority openings simultaneously.
• Strong relationship-building with candidates and hiring partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders for workforce planning and develop hiring strategies to meet growth targets.
• Proactively source and attract top talent through relationships with university programs, labs, trade schools, and niche talent pools.
• Screen candidates and promote the company’s mission and talent brand to attract high-quality applicants.
• Design and refine interview processes to increase confidence in candidate selection and reduce bias.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop closing strategies and resources for key hires.
