Job summary

Persona AI in Houston is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle sourcing and closing for highly technical robotics roles. You’ll partner with Head of Talent and hiring managers across engineering and operations to attract and hire top talent capable of shipping products.

You’ll build targeted sourcing strategies, engage passive candidates, and drive offers and relocation discussions to Houston, leveraging dedicated relocation support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience filling highly technical engineering or deep-tech roles in robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, ML/AI.
• Expert-level sourcing using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, academic networks, AI tools.
• Strong partnering with hiring managers: intake meetings and requirement translation.
• Proven ability to engage and close passive candidates.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions without compromising quality or velocity.
• Experience with relocation discussions to Houston and offers negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles such as Machine Learning, Autonomy, Teleoperations, RL, and Robotics Software.
• Run intake meetings to pin role needs, negotiables, and success metrics.
• Build custom sourcing strategies across Boolean, LinkedIn, GitHub, academia, and AI tools.
• Write outreach that yields replies from passive candidates and convert to conversations.
• Screen for depth, motivation, and fit before involving hiring managers.
• Drive end-to-end interview loops, scheduling, debriefs, and momentum.
• Manage offers and equity discussions; support relocation logistics with partners.
• Keep ATS clean and report pipeline health to Head of Talent and managers.
• Represent Persona AI in the market as a credible ambassador.
