Job summary

Turion Space in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to build the engineering team and move fast in a high-stakes space environment. This on-site role partners with engineering and leadership to recruit top-tier talent.

You will own full-cycle recruiting, source hard-to-reach candidates, and guide candidates through the process with an exceptional experience. The role includes negotiating offers, equity conversations, and maintaining ATS Ashby, with ITAR considerations and travel

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
• A track record of success sourcing and hiring for hard-to-fill technical roles.
• Prior experience presenting and implementing new recruitment strategies and processes with business leadership.
• Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage requisitions and project work simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, primarily focused on engineering
• Actively source top-tier, hard-to-reach talent through creative outbound strategies and network-building
• Prepare hiring teams with structured interview plans and tools for effective, consistent candidate evaluations
• Run debriefs and partner with hiring managers to make data-informed decisions quickly
• Guide candidates through the process with clarity, professionalism, and an outstanding experience
• Craft compelling offers and close candidates, including compensation and equity conversations
• Maintain data and detailed documentation in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Ashby.
• Continuously iterate on our processes to improve speed, quality, and experience
• Handle contractor requests from hiring managers and manage those requisitions through to start date, in addition to full-time hiring
