Job summary

Exowatt in Miami, FL seeks a Lead Technical Recruiter to own full‑cycle hiring for key engineering and product roles. This hands-on, in‑office role is a 1099 contract with a path to full‑time for the right candidate, based in the Miami headquarters.

You will source, assess, and close hard‑to‑fill positions across hardware, mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware teams. You’ll partner with engineering leaders, design structured interview processes, and travel periodically to our Austin

Qualifications

6+ years of technical recruiting experience for hardware and software roles.
Experience building pipelines for hard-to-fill senior roles.
Strong ability to close offers and manage complex negotiations.

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across hardware, software, and firmware.
Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach passive candidates in deep‑tech.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and interview processes.
Guide engineering leaders on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategy.
Ensure exceptional candidate experience and accurate data in the ATS (Lever).
Travel to Exowatt's Austin facility as needed.
