Job summary

Varick Agents LTD. in San Francisco's Financial District seeks a recruiter to build the team that builds Varick. You will own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, and GTM, from sourcing to closing, with direct access to the founders.

You should have 2+ years in technical recruiting, a proven track record closing passive candidates, and strong organizational skills. This is an on-site role in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical or high-bar recruiting, ideally in-house at a startup or at a top firm.
• A track record of sourcing and closing strong candidates, especially passive ones.
• Sharp judgment on talent and a feel for the Varick bar.
• Organized, fast, and proactive, with excellent candidate communication.
• Comfort building process in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and helping close candidates across roles
• Build and run a pipeline of high-caliber candidates for engineering, product, and GTM
• Keep the process sharp and the candidate experience excellent, so we win the people we want
• Partner with the founders and hiring managers to calibrate the bar and move fast
• Own the recruiting systems and data so hiring is measurable and predictable
