Matrix IT Ltd in the United States is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter with deep expertise in hiring across Data, Machine Learning, AI, and Software Engineering roles. This role requires strategic partnership with engineering leaders and ownership of end-to-end hiring for complex technical positions in a fast-paced environment.

You will build robust pipelines, craft precise job descriptions, and lead technical screening to ensure high-quality candidates for data, ML, and software teams

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a strong focus on Data, ML, AI, or Software Engineering roles.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit senior and specialized technical profiles in fast-paced environments.
• Solid working knowledge of modern data and ML ecosystems, including Data Engineering & Big Data platforms, ML frameworks and pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and Software Engineers.
• Write and publish technically accurate job descriptions for advanced data and ML roles.
• Proactively source senior and niche technical talent using LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, professional communities, and networking channels.
• Conduct in-depth technical screening calls to assess hands-on experience, system design, and problem-solving skills.
• Partner with technical interviewers to align on assessment strategies and hiring standards.
• Build and maintain long-term pipelines for critical data and ML skill sets.
• Produce recruitment metrics and insights on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire.
