Job summary

Symbotic, an AI-powered robotics and software platform, is hiring a Technical Program Manager to partner with engineering leadership, tech leads, and product teams to ensure complex programs are delivered on time and with high quality.

You will drive execution across software, robotics, and automation systems, manage risk, prioritize work, and communicate status to executives, using data and SQL to measure program health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience; 3+ years leading complex technical programs.
• Experience with software, hardware, robotics, automation, or similar tech products.
• Strong program management skills coordinating priorities across stakeholders.
• Experience using Jira to organize work and drive accountability.
• Ability to write SQL queries and use data to inform decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers, technical leads, and product managers to drive execution across complex technical programs.
• Identify technical and program risks early, helping teams navigate challenges before they impact delivery.
• Ensure work is effectively prioritized, tracked, and executed through disciplined program management practices.
• Drive accountability by ensuring tasks, actions, dependencies, and ownership are clearly defined.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communicate program status, risks, and milestones to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
• Leverage data and reporting tools, including SQL, to provide visibility into program health and execution metrics.
• Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and rapid decision-making across technical and business teams.
• Support the successful delivery of innovative solutions in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, accelerate execution, and enhance cross-functional coordination.
