Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company reimagining how people pay over time. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will oversee high-visibility planning programs across engineering, product, and analytics, helping scale processes and deliver customer and merchant products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to align goals, implement lean practices, and build data-driven frameworks to track progress against OKRs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years managing programs and change in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes.
• Organized and strategic approach to collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex, multidisciplinary, and highly visible transformation and operational programs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on strategy and priorities.
• Implement lean processes and drive toward better ways of working to realize value from planning and priorities.
• Establish and run data-driven operational frameworks to view portfolio performance against OKRs.
• Develop communication strategies to ensure critical information flows across the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan change requirements, identify risks, manage dependencies, and establish tools and forums.
• Identify and distill needs, experiment with new ideas to address systemic inefficiencies and promote accountability.
