Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee high-visibility planning programs across engineering, product, and analytics. You will align cross-functional teams, drive change initiatives, and scale our processes as the business grows.

The role requires 8+ years managing programs in a technology environment, a strong technical background, and excellent communication. Base pay ranges CA $165,000-$225,000 per year, with equity and generous health benefits in a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years managing programs, processes, and change in tech.
• Strong technical background with software development insight.
• Organized, strategic, cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with good tradeoff decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Remote-friendly collaboration experience.
• FinTech, Payments or Commerce background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex multi-disciplinary transformation and operational programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align strategy and priorities.
• Implement lean processes and improve ways of working.
• Establish data-driven frameworks to view portfolio performance against OKRs.
• Develop communication strategies for information flow.
• Plan change requirements, manage risks, dependencies.
