Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Distinguished Technical Program Manager to lead the operational strategy for Marketplace Engineering. You will partner with engineering executives to improve reliability, productivity, and engineering maturity across thousands of engineers.

You will drive cross-organizational programs, establish standards and metrics, and measure outcomes through operational intelligence while influencing technical direction at scale.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years in engineering/program management (Option 1).
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (Option 1).
• 9+ years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (Option 2).

Mansioni

• Define and lead Marketplace-wide strategies for reliability, operational excellence, and engineering maturity.
• Partner with engineering leaders to drive cross-organizational initiatives spanning availability, observability, incident management, engineering productivity, and AI.
• Establish engineering standards, operating mechanisms, and organizational metrics that improve consistency across Marketplace.
• Drive execution of complex, multi-organization programs while influencing technical direction and engineering strategy.
• Measure outcomes through operational intelligence and continuously improve engineering performance at organizational scale.
