Walmart Data Ventures seeks a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead platform-level software and AI/ML initiatives. You will guide infrastructure, tooling, and full lifecycle delivery while mentoring multiple teams and aligning with strategic roadmaps.

Ideal candidates will have strong DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud optimization experience, plus the ability to manage complex cross-functional programs and measure platform success through defined metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure, and reusable development.
• Drive full software development lifecycle, promoting DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud cost optimization.
• Guide architectural reviews and system design decisions to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and performance.
• Mentor engineers and managers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to define priorities, unblock progress, and align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Establish and track operational and engineering metrics to assess platform success and guide enhancements.
