Job summary

BCBSNC is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex, technology-driven projects from planning through delivery, release, and post-implementation transition. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and maintain visibility into project health.

The role emphasizes agile governance, risk management, budgeting, and collaborative leadership across engineering, product, and business partners in a Hybrid-Flex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives with integrated plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs for successful delivery.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge to anticipate risks and support tradeoff discussions.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation.
• Ensure alignment with governance standards, delivery methodologies, compliance, and quality expectations.
• Manage resources, capacity planning, and delivery constraints while forecasting and planning.
